HostUplift expands holiday let reach through new Sykes Holiday Cottages partnership

Holiday let owners managed by HostUplift can now access Sykes’ booking network without taking on additional administration or giving up control of their properties

LONDON, UK. October 5th, 2026 – UK short-term rental management company HostUplift has joined forces with Sykes Holiday Cottages, creating a new route to bookings for independently owned holiday lets across the UK and Ireland. Through the partnership, eligible HostUplift properties will gain exposure to Sykes’ established customer network while owners continue to work with HostUplift and retain control over how their properties are managed.

Under the new arrangement, eligible properties in the UK and Ireland managed by HostUplift will appear on Sykes Holiday Cottages and its network of partner websites. Existing distribution remains in place, including direct booking sites, Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo and Expedia Group.

All channels continue to be managed through HostUplift’s central system. Rates, availability and booking rules can be updated from a single platform and automatically synchronised across the relevant channels, including Sykes. Owners therefore do not need to introduce an additional management process or handle separate administration.

HostUplift currently manages more than 250 properties across the UK and Europe, ranging from luxury glamping pods and individual holiday homes to country manor houses. Its clients include individual holiday let owners as well as larger property portfolios.

The company’s approach is designed to allow owners to concentrate on the practical, on-site aspects of running their properties while HostUplift manages the distribution and booking infrastructure behind the scenes.

Adam Maclean, Founder of HostUplift, said: “Partnering with Sykes is a big milestone for us, and one we’re really proud of. We share a simple goal: to give guests a great stay while making running a holiday let as easy as possible for owners.

“For our existing hosts, this means a new source of bookings through one of the UK’s leading cottage companies, with no extra admin and no change to how they work with us. They keep the same control and visibility they’ve always had. The only thing that changes is the reach.”

Harriet Kerr, Portfolio Director at Sykes Holiday Cottages, added: “We’re always looking for new ways to connect great properties with guests who’ll love them, and this partnership with HostUplift does exactly that.

“At Sykes, we’re committed to helping owners run profitable, successful holiday let businesses, and to making that process as simple as possible, whatever stage they’re at. Partnering with companies like HostUplift, who share that same focus on owner experience, means more properties can benefit from Sykes’ reach and expertise. We’re pleased to welcome their portfolio and look forward to driving strong results for their owners.”
