LIVERPOOL, UK, October 8, 2026: As aspiring investors look for different ways to access the property market, Lease Options Mastery is restarting its programme of face-to-face training after more than half a year away from live events. Founded by property entrepreneur and investor Nicky Greer, the academy is returning with practical education focused on lease options and other approaches that may offer alternatives to conventional property acquisition.
The organisation returned to in-person training in September with an event in Heathrow, London, and plans to hold another session in October. A Liverpool bootcamp is also in development for later this year, bringing the academy back to the North of England for the first time in almost two years.
The pause in live training followed uncertainty affecting parts of the property industry, alongside wider geopolitical concerns that influenced event planning. The latest return signals a renewed commitment to in-person learning as people continue to investigate different ways of entering the property sector.
Lease Options Mastery was established by Greer to help aspiring investors understand lease option agreements and how they can be used in property transactions. Under these arrangements, an investor may secure contractual rights over a property before purchasing it, potentially providing an alternative to strategies that require substantial upfront capital and mortgage borrowing.
Its three-day bootcamps provide practical instruction on finding motivated sellers, identifying properties not widely advertised on the open market, understanding contractual arrangements and avoiding mistakes that can affect inexperienced investors.
Greer said: “We are pleased to be returning to in-person events and giving people the opportunity to learn and connect over the course of a three-day programme. There remains significant interest in alternative property strategies, particularly from those who may have been excluded by some of the traditional barriers to entry.”
The academy has also entered into a new agreement to broaden its property sourcing network. According to the business, the initiative is designed to connect members with potential investment properties available below prevailing market values and strengthen the practical support provided alongside its training.
For those unable to travel to live sessions, monthly online training will remain part of the programme, allowing members to continue learning remotely.
Beyond the UK, Greer is assessing possible international expansion opportunities. After examining markets outside the Middle East over the past year, Florida has become one of the locations under consideration for future development.
“We see potential for the lease option model in a number of overseas markets, and Florida is one area we will continue to explore. It represents an interesting opportunity as we develop our international presence,” Greer said.
Greer has also welcomed government changes involving Empty Dwelling Management Orders (EDMOs), which are expected to shorten the qualifying vacancy period before councils can intervene in certain long-term empty properties.
These orders allow local authorities to manage vacant residential homes and return them to occupation while the properties remain in their owners’ ownership. Supporters say the revised rules could help bring more homes back into circulation, address neglected properties and ease some pressures on local housing markets.
Greer said: “Reducing the qualifying period for EDMOs from two years to six months has the potential to unlock significant housing stock that would otherwise remain unused. For property investors and local authorities alike, it creates opportunities to bring empty homes back into productive use while helping address local housing demand. It is an area we expect to become increasingly important over the next 12 months.”
Following the changes, Lease Options Mastery has incorporated updated EDMO-related guidance into its training materials, outlining the framework and the potential role investors could play in returning vacant homes to use.
With live sessions returning and further dates planned, the academy intends to maintain its focus on accessible property education and developments shaping the investment landscape. Its programme will continue to address opportunities in the UK and international markets for people considering alternatives to traditional property investment.
