Mould and indoor contamination are increasingly recognised as major contributors to chronic illness globally, with rising cases of asthma, neurological disorders, inflammatory disease and chronic fatigue linked to toxic indoor environments. The World Health Organization has warned that misdiagnosed environmental illness could become “the great masquerade of the 21st century,” creating widespread medical and economic challenges.
The issue has been worsened by misinformation, unregulated training providers, and unsafe or ineffective cleaning products promoted online. Until now, access to clear, authoritative, evidence-based advice has been limited.
