London-based adviser and lawyer Raihan Islam has launched the High-Velocity X Podcast, a new series designed to guide founders who want to scale their businesses rapidly while avoiding the pitfalls of operational chaos. The series responds to a growing misalignment between founder ambition and the organisational structures required for stable growth.
The idea emerged after Islam attended Web Summit 2025 in Lisbon, where discussions with driven entrepreneurs revealed a common theme: companies accelerating at pace without the legal or operational foundations to support sustainable expansion.
The podcast has been created to offer clear, practical support for founders seeking to maintain speed while reducing exposure to risk.
Operational strain continues to be one of the biggest hurdles for UK startups pursuing aggressive growth. The High-Velocity X Podcast confronts this challenge by showcasing seasoned founders, industry mentors, and growth experts who have successfully managed the balance between ambition and structure.
“A week in Lisbon with passionate entrepreneurs reminded me why this work matters,” said Raihan Islam, founder of High-Velocity X.
“Founders have the drive to move fast, but they often lack the structural foundations to do so safely. High-Velocity X is about helping people build businesses that can scale without breaking. The conversations are direct, practical, and focused on what actually works when you’re trying to grow responsibly.”
Each episode explores a different facet of scaling, featuring AI branding innovators, operational consultants, and founders leading the way in emerging tech fields. The format emphasises practical guidance rather than theoretical discussion, aligned with Islam’s background supporting rapidly growing companies.
At its core, the podcast advocates for “sustainable speed”, the principle of ensuring business foundations are secure before pursuing acceleration. Episodes address critical areas such as legal safeguards, efficient decision-making tools, effective terms and conditions, and processes to reduce operational friction during scale-up.
The High-Velocity X Podcast is available now on Spotify and at highvelocityx.com. New instalments are released weekly, with guests spanning the UK, Europe, and North America.
The podcast complements Islam’s advisory work under the High-Velocity X brand, helping founders build scalable organisations through operational rigour and clarity.
