The awareness campaign aims to highlight that good care begins with recognising changes in health and feeling confident enough to seek appropriate advice. However, many people delay asking for help because of embarrassment, stigma or uncertainty about their symptoms.
This can also be the case with conditions such as hepatitis. Hepatitis affects millions of people worldwide, yet many people are unaware that they have the condition. Without early diagnosis and appropriate treatment, it can lead to serious and potentially long-term health complications.
