BWS: Manchester’s Creative Gem Shines on the Global Stage

Ben Wild Studios, the brainchild of the self-taught artist Ben Wild, has today announced a major rebranding to reflect its phenomenal growth and broader market presence. The studio will now be known as BWS, marking a new chapter in its vibrant journey since its inception in 2019.

Founded by Ben Wild, a local Manchester talent who ventured into the world of animation after leaving Sale High School at the age of 15, BWS has revolutionised the traditional animation industry.

Starting his career path without a university degree, Ben has been a beacon of inspiration, encouraging aspiring artists to pursue their dreams with determination and creativity.

Ben Wild, now 25, has rapidly progressed from an on-site storyboard artist for a film studio to collaborating with high-profile, global clients. This rebrand from Ben Wild Studios to BWS, personally crafted by Ben, symbolises the studio’s evolution and expanded capabilities, which now include a wide range of creative services beyond animation.

“Since our first project with co-founder and investor Andrew Morgan back in 2019, we’ve realised the potential to grow and adapt in this fast-paced industry,” said Ben Wild. “Rebranding to BWS reflects not just our roots but also our wings as we expand into new horizons.”

In just three years, BWS has not only doubled its team but has also built an impressive client portfolio featuring giants like the Premier League, Seren Kids, CBBC, New Balance and Amazon Prime, highlighting the demand for BWS’ high-quality, hand-drawn animations that evoke nostalgia yet break new ground in digital storytelling.

As BWS, the company is poised to take on even more exciting projects and broader creative challenges, driven by a team that’s doubled in size over the past year. This expansion is a testament to BWS’s commitment to excellence and innovation in the traditional animation sphere.
